The French bank Credit Agricole runs a new mobile contactless payment in France based on the MicroSD technology of Visa Europe.
"As of December 2011, 200 Credit Agricole’s customers and employees will test this new payment solution. It uses a MicroSD* card that contains a Visa secure payment application. The integration of this card onto the phone will activate its NFC (Near Field Communication) functionality. Customers will receive a case containing the MicroSD card, which is specifically dedicated to the iPhone. The MicroSD card will be activated once the user has downloaded from the Apple Store, the Express Mobile Payment Application. With the iPhone and its equipment, customers from the Caen agglomeration will be able to purchase up to 20 Euros from all merchants accepting Visa contactless payments... The MicroSD card and dedicated case to the iPhone are provided by DeviceFidelity."
HTC, LG, Motorola Mobility, RIM, Samsung Mobile, Sony Ericsson and DeviceFidelity to Implement Isis NFC and Technology Standards

NXP, AuthenTec and DeviceFidelity Complete First Fingerprint-enabled NFC Payment Transaction in the U.S., Jointly Collaborate on Secure NFC Mobile Wallet Solutions
"NXP Semiconductors, AuthenTec, and DeviceFidelity, Inc., announced today that they are jointly developing reference designs that enable highly secure mobile payments via Android-based phones through the use of fingerprint biometrics and near field communication (NFC) technology. The wallet of the future in your phone
"ANZ and Visa have begun a four-week internal trial of a contactless mobile phone payment application. Fifty participants from the Sydney and Melbourne offices of the two companies have been given a special protective iPhone case with a secure microSD memory card that allows them to turn their phone into a virtual wallet… The microSD payment technology, developed by DeviceFidelity in partnership with Visa, combines a protective iPhone case with a secure memory card that hosts Visa’s contactless payment application, called Visa payWave. The microSD card hosts a prepaid ANZ account that can be topped up over the Internet when needed. This technology is currently the only mobile contactless solution to be approved as a Visa compliant solution. The microSD card also supports various Blackberry and Android devices.
